Floor Mats Cracking?

Hi:



I have had 2 sets of Sport Trac floor mats in 3 years. Both drivers side one have cracked about where the deep wells are near the middle of the lower section.



Anyone else had this problem?



I'm going to try some JB weld and see if I can salvage them and then I'm also going to go to WalMart and buy some cheap ones. Can't afford to get another set that lasts 1 year. I have a new passenger side mat from the second set I bought in the Swap and Sell if anyone's interested.

Mine all-weather mats did the same thing within a year, right under where my heel rests when I have my foot on the gas. I just kept using mine.

hey



i have a similar problem, but mine isn't the mats, i never used them--my flooring is developing a hole in it!!! the rubber flooring will only last for SO long under the pressure of my lead gas foot!!



any ideas what to do other than use floor mats (i am doing this now...)???



hard to imagine replacing the flooring itself, i imagine that would be a large job... anyone run into this before?
