Whose ever idea it was to use lexan for a busted fog light cover...THANK YOU... It worked like a charm and only cost 4 bucks.

I looked through the Projects/Lighting but didn't see a reference to this. Did I just overlook it? Where is the info on doing it?
 
ncranchero, I found it by reading an older post : What you do is break of the rest of the glass and cut a sheet of lexan to a 4.5" diameter circle. Put some silicone around the ring where you removed the old glass, wait for it to set, and then reinstall the light. Really easy and glad i did it instead of spending money. In fact it looks better than my other one right now because moisture has gotten into it.(Where's my hammer?)

I used a jigsaw instead of a hole saw, as i didnt have that size and couldn't see paying $20 to use it once.
