edge,

i just had one for 2 weeks to demo.

imo, good choice over the gmc. better quality and looks.

with very good ford incentives, i would go with the edge.

I had an Arcadia as a rental a few weeks back and really liked it. That 3.6 under the hood hauled butt! I thought it had a V8 until I popped the hood a few days into the rental. I would love to have that motor in my ST! I like the styling of the Edge a little better though, and it also drives nice with adequate power.

I like the Edge better,,, but the Flex is COOL! but then again,, Rose's Ford 500 gets 27-32 mpg and has more room than our old Lincoln Continental.

My brother has an Acadia and they like it. My question is, does the Edge have 3rd row seating? (I don't think it does) and do you need 3rd row seating? If not then IMO go with the smaller vehicle.

The Acadia actually has more interior room then a Tahoe

I think the Flex styling is a little bit lacking for me. Sorry, but the box look doesn't quite do it.

Looked at an Acadia yesterday and was very impressed. Surprized more like it.

Haven't yet driven an Edge.

Don't need the 3rd row seat.

AWD is a must.

Gavin,

I've driven both and there are a number of things I liked about the Acadia better, mostly handling and looks. Some of the interior on the Acadia seemed a little cheap though. I would look into the cost difference between the Acadia and the Buick Enclave if really interested, or the Saturn Outlook for that matter...pretty much all the same vehicle. They all differ in styling a wee bit (sorry, sat next to 4 Irishmen on the plane back from London).

The Edge just drove wifes 3500 miles we had freezing rain (Tx) and snow (nm) a little rain in (az) got 22 to 24 mpg. It rides very nice hard to beat its a AWD good luck with your choice. Bill
