My town Pasadena,Tx, bought a bunch of crown-vic backups a few years back. Now they are in service. They have been buying chargers. I still see some new crown-vics in storage.



They buy the chevy police suv for city DOT.About 5 miles of HWY 225 runs through our city from the industry and the houston shiping ports. They chase down the truckers and guide them to an inspection station.



They also use the chevy suv for K-9 units.

We've been Crown Vics for a while, but until recently a few Dodge Chargers have started to show up.

My cousin works for a small town police dept and once upon a time the captains and such got the new vehicles but since they started getting the Chargers they let them go to the newbies on the force. He said you do not want your but in a anything but a Vic all day.
