Mexico and Canada are in North America; but when most people just say "America", they mean the USA, which is also in North America. Of course, I don't know why I am saying all this, because I am sure you already know these things. Ha.



I too wonder what would keep someone from buying one of these cool trucks in Canada and importing it.

i think the correct name for it should have been "Wild Trac"

in memory and resemblance to the Sport Trac.

How much of a pain is it to import a car though?





According to the internet, all you'll have to do is pay a fair chunk of change, minus 400 bucks...provided this Ford isn't on some sort of import proscription list.



Though don't we already have this? I mean, I've seen white avalanches all over the place :grin:

which i really like. it was just the ranger from the link i posted that i hadnt seen.

The orange is sweet, I wish Ford had kept Orange as a color for the ST.



The fender stylings are kinda cool. The winch is nice. (Or is that just a shiny solo tow hook?)



I'd still prefer a traditional, rugged, more conservative (fusty?) look for the grille. The compact design with the slant seems more "avante garde car for hipsters" than "rugged all-purpose vehicle" to me. So do the "altezza" styled tail lights.



The lack of rear doors sucks. It doesn't look as though they are "half doors" either, but regardless, real doors or bust. This thing is basically an extended-cab ranger, and I tried one of those, and it would not work. So I got the ST.



I can't see anything fitting back there besides jump seats, and those things will not work for my needs.



Also, the dumb "rollover bar" and iceberg graphics need to go.
