Found Pilot Xenon part no. XL-194W [Problem Solved]

I replaced the center / mid map light bulbs with the Pilot Xenon part no. XL-194W. When I removed the clear light cover the dome lights went out, and when I replaced the unit with the new map bulbs none of the overhead lights work. The project by Ed Malinas says nothing about the lights going out when removing the clear cover. Could I have blown a fuse? Is there somethings else I need to look at? :unsure:

It's possible you blew a fuse. Check the little metal piece running around the bulb base up there and see if it's broken anywhere. If that part is broken, your lights won't work.

Yup, I blew a fuse. Why a dumb 10a fuse would blow when I opened the clear lens cover for the dome lights is anyone's guess. The Pilot Xenon part no. XL-194W 12w 5a bulbs work great.
