Four Wheel Drive module ?

Hi All,

Does this sound like the module. If I flip the switch from 2 to 4 wheel drive. 3 out of 4 times it will go in. Sometimes it won't. No sound from the module at all. Could it be the switch or the module. Is the module and switch dealer items only ?Thanks for any help. Bob

I have the same issue. Posted question a couple of days ago and the unanimous answer was the module on the passenger side of the truck. Someone said new was over $100 but one guy got one out of a wreck for about 50 or 75

Just what JamesB said. My module went out, got it fixed at the dealer and afterwards I wished I would have gone to a salvage yard.
