I assume you are talking about friction modifier for the rear limited slip differential.

The first fluid swap I did, I used Redline, the second I used Amsoil.

You can also get it from the Ford Dealer.

Just make sure it meets or exceeds the Ford specification found in your owners manual.

You add the proper fluid, and a bottle of the friction modifier if you have a limited slip differential.

According to my dealership, the modifier is no longer required with the reformulated Ford Transmission fluid. There was a rust inhibitor in the old version which would cause our trottle bodies to stick.

The stuff that is used in a limited slip differential is just a couple of bucks at a Ford dealer.

Part number X-L3.

I got a tube of it at AutoZone, the diff took about half of it. It takes 4 oz. I put in Mobil 1 gear lube which says you don't need an additive unless you need "maximum limited-slip performance" but I put it in anyway. I need "maximum performance". :D
