Mine was crappy. I had someone back into my back bumper causing $400 plus in damage, on my way home from work a salt truck drove past me and smashed out the driver side rear window in my cap, got a bout of food poisoning, and lost half a days pay because of it.....

Hope everyone out there had better luck then I did!!

Mine wasn't too bad, got to head out of town for a 3-day weekend with my wife and 2 of our friends and their significant others.

Good to me....found out I'm going to Puerto Rico for a business trip in March. Taking the missus and making a mini vacation out of it.

I never noticed it was Friday the 13th, but it was fine for me anyway....Perhaps it's just best if you don't know??

...Rich

I went down to the old farm, sat beneath some large oaks, rifle in hand and pondered the complexities of life. Didn't solve anything or harvest a deer but it was just another one of those perfect days.

Sorry to hear your misfortune Kegger. If bad things come in 3s, you should be good for a while.

Mine was OK.

A freinds wasnt. He called me for help. He ran over some screws on the right side, Of his '04 f-150.

His front was flat the rear slow leak.

His factory jack wouldnt work. So I brought a floor jack. Then He couldnt find the key for the spare tire crank. I wish out tracs had a key. Looks like some of the wheel lock keys.

So we had to take that tire to discount tire for repair. Put it back on the front. Then I got my air pump, for a 12v power point. Aired the rear tire, so he could drive back to the tire store.

Sad thing also. He was sick, missed work. Was coming from the doctor. He had to pull into a funeral home parking lot. He was soo' sick. I asked him if he wanted to go inside, and lay down...LOL. He didnt think it as funny.

About as bad as could be. A college friend of my wife's who had been missing for a couple days was determined on Friday to have been murdered. She went out for her morning run and never came back.

They now have a couple guys in custody whose confessions (and other evidence) they apparently feel are fully credible (which is why they were able to declare her to have been murdered on Friday)--but whatever those two were on at the time was enough that they can't remember which woods it was in which they left her body, so she has yet to be recovered.

So yeah--Friday the 13th, and the whole long weekend, totally sucked.

You got it slightly backwards--it's my wife's friend, not the other way around. And the friend was living in Sidney, Montana, which is where it happened.
