The front blower only has 3 speeds now 4 will not work. I replaced the resistor on the blower motor, but that didnt help. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks Tom

Well, the first three speeds are the only speeds that use the resister. The forth speed is full speed and has a direct (non-resisted) speed. Since the blower is working it shows that power is getting to it. I would think you have an issue with the switch. Run a hopper wire to the plug of the blower. If it goes full blast than you need to take a look at the switch to see if you have a connection issue or a defective switch...

Most of the fords today do use the resister block for the high. What happens is the plug gets corroded inside and looses connection...

Need to take a test light and turn the switch and test each lead from the plug...

The plug should have 4 connectors on it...

Some vehicles use a high relay for the high setting..
