My Trac got the dreaded creaking sound coming from the front. I replaced the upper control arm/ball joint, the lower ball joint and stabilizer bar end link all on the drivers side only. This fixed the creaking sound. I plan to replace the same items for the passenger side since the Trac has 200,000 miles on the stock parts. Since I replaced the upper control arm, will I need to have the front end aligned?

Thanks

Any time the upper control arms are moved or replaced, camber and caster alignment should be checked. When replacing only lower

ball joints, alignment is not needed. Still unsure if camber kits or replacement washers are needed on your 2003. Read link below. GL

I ran across that thread just a few minutes ago. I only want to do the alignment once, so I will wait to get the parts for the passenger side. I'm not driving it now so I am in no big hurry. I will look this evening to see if I have one piece or two piece passenger side arm.

Thanks for the input.
