Front end NOISE

If I turn right, and turn up and incline (like a driveway), I get a distinct POP fron my left front wheel area.

SOMETIMES, I get it by turning sharply at low speeds, like in a parking lot.

VERY noticable, but the dealer "can't find anything"..and...to make it worse, it is intermittent.:angry:

2007 ST...v-8 4x4.

Not the steering stops...you don't have to be turned to the stops to have it happen...



dealer checked ball joints...



could it be the hub?

I get the same noise on my 04 trac. It is usually only when I pull in or out of the driveway. I think it may be the sway bar.

I have the same noise from my right front when turning left into my parking garage at work.............it's a pop sound, just one pop.........2007 4X4 limited. ??????? /Brad

I think this is a common noise on tracs, I read somewhere there is a TSB about it, but I wasn't able to retrieve it. I get it going over speed humps, and if I resist laughing and making a joke to the woman about speed humps, I can hear the clunk.
