Hey Guys,
I'm taking my truck in for an oil change on Thursday and going to have them look at a rattling coming from the front end.
Its an '07 V8 with 65,000km, they recently changed the Control arm, CV joint and Lower Ball Joint, I've never been off-roading and I baby my track.
It happens over speed bumps, cracks in the roads, etc. nothing major and at any speed, more noticeable on main city roads.
It doesn't matter which tire is hitting the bump it sounds pretty similar across both and the steering feels tight so I don't think its that.
A buddy of mine mentioned it may be the bushings at the top of the struts? I'm not familiar with the mechanics of vehicles so I thought I'd throw it out and see what some of you may think. Just wanted to get an idea of what I'm in for before I arrive.
Thanks in advance.
Rob
