Heard one like that on Paul Harvey a number of years back.
A listener wrote to Paul and said "I had my golf clubs stolen from the trunk of my car last week. I can't understand why someone would want them so bad when the driver slices the ball, the irons hook the ball, the sand wedge never gets the ball out of the trap and the putter always leaves the ball 3 inches short of the cup???"
Another listener wrote days later Paul and said "Paul...you read the story about the guy who had his golf clubs stolen.. I have just one question. How did his clubs end up in my trunk?" :wacko:
