$30 shipped the cheapest way I can figure out how to ship it, including on the back of a mule. [The filters without the recharging kit are approximately $65 new, and $45 from reputable online sellers, like Amazon. The recharging kits vary from $10 to $20.)
From K&N's web site:
I used it for approximately 35,000 miles before I replaced it with a Green-brand filter. I cleaned it three times (after I took it out two days ago, but never before--the filter was dirty) but did not re-oil it. However, I will include the remainder of the cleaning solution and a full aerosol of the spray oil (part of the K&N recharging kit).
The filter itself is in 95% shape--the chrome end-cap has a few scratches and could be polished out. However, when in the bay, you cannot see it as it's tucked into the fender.
In addition, on one side, the screen covering seven of the pleats (approximately one inch wide) are shiny silver, not black, because when I removed it, it rubbed on the side of the metal piece that sticks out of the side of the bay (and supports the hood). The filter is fine, but I want to make sure you know exactly what you're getting.
