Fuel filter clip

I have an 04 Sportrack 4.0 V6. I was in the process of changing my fuel filter and the clip broke. No problem I figured. I went to the dealer (to make sure I got the correct one) and they told me not made anymore, and I have to replace the whole fuel line from filter to tank! Is this a bunch of B.S. or what? My buddy at the Chevy dealer says NAPA sells an assortment of clips, and to pick out one thats fits right. Anyone else run into this???

Plastic clip, Im thinking blue? And I do have quite the assortment of line disconnect tools.

The clips the filter came with do not have the right clips, it had generic universal clips.
