I love the opportunities that working at UPS offer me. This is the only flying ME 262 in the U.S. There are only two of these in the world and the other is in Germany. A friend of a friend is working on this one, which was here for flight testing this morning.

No, It's not safe enough yet. Yesterdays flight they were having prolonged cycling of the landing gear. As in 30-45 seconds for the main wheels and over a minute for extension of the nose wheel. They are going to increase the flow to the cylinders with dual outlets from the pumps.
 
Might have been a different outcome, if. The Nazi's had those early in the war..thank God they didnt'.
 
I think they have one on display here in Dayton, OH at the US Air Force Museum. To see one fly would be a really neat thing. If it ever gets to where it will be at and air show somewhere in the mid west, let me know! I'd love to see it. Thanks for the pic
