Yep, that show was very realistic too. (eye roll)

A delivery guy has absolutely no shot at dating, nonetheless marrying a hot POA like Leah Remini. Fat, dumpy guys only get gals like that if they are super-rich. Doesn't matter how funny they are.

Yeah, call me shallow.

Tom i agree..... Seen the New Mike and Molly..... Looks like a driect Rip of Kings....

Todd Z,

I've seen a couple of episodes of Mike and Molly, and frankly, the show is not funny. Roseanne was better at self-deprecation humor. The only thing marginally funny about that show is the sterotypical, middle-aged, desperate, horndog "Eye-Talian" guy that is dating Molly's mom.

Other than that, not funny, and actually, kind of sad that the show glorifies morbid obesity as it does (putting on asbestos suit).

Goes with the realistic comment above.......

thats about all they got right.......

I don't like the show... got through 15 min of 1 episode and never watched again..

TJR, by "asbestos suit", are you referring to a so-called "fat suit"? If so, who on the show is wearing one? I thought I had heard that the show isn't using anything like that--all the actors involves are at their real-life weight. But I could easily be wrong on that point.

And I have to say that Samuel, the Senegalese waiter at the restaurant, is a pretty good character on the show. Sure, it's not the greatest show ever--but it's not bad either.

Even if I were to grant that your point, in most cases, is true--part of the point of television as a form of entertainment is to escape realities such as that. Every non-news show on TV has that to some degree.

Bill V,

I was referring to my putting an an asbestos suit to avoid injury during a potential flame war, just in case there are Mike and Molly fans that don't think the show glorifies or otherwise showcases morbid obesity as a comedic theme...

I took it as a Flack jacket...... Caught Toms point...

Wow. I feel the same about the show.

I didn't find this scene particularly funny. Thinking Domino's Pizza was better because it was (presumably) Italian was funny, but the scene was all about the phone call which was rather dumb.

How hard is it to type in 10 numbers?
