Funny Snopes verified legend...(Sexual content inside)

This was sent to me, so, thinking it was a scam of a scam, I went to Snopes.com and found it to be true.

Kind of funny... LOL

Legend: A porn video retailer runs a clever scam by sending customers embarrassingly uncashable refund checks.

True Story - Australian Police have been unable to recommend a prosecution for the following scam:

A company takes out a newspaper advertisement claiming to be able to supply imported hard core pornographic videos. As their prices seem reasonable, people place orders and make payments via cheque.

After several weeks, the company writes back explaining that under the present law they are unable to supply the materials and do not wish to be prosecuted. So they return their customers' money in the form of a company cheque. However, due to the name of the company, few people ever bother to present these to their banks.

The name of the company is:

'The Anal Sex and Fetish Perversion Company'.

So, the questions is, would you cash the check?????

Hell yeah!!! I figure if you are going to be buying porn, you shouldn't be shy about people knowing it. I don't get porn since I don't really need it. My wife's enough for me. But back in the day, I didn't care who knew what I watched.

So no one here has ever written funny/inappropriate comments in the "For" section of a check in the bottom left corner? Very similar to this scheme. I did this to the ex before we got married a few times and to a few good friends.
