Looking to buy a used Garmin GPS for the car.

I have an older Garmin GPS 12XL that I might be willing to part with. I'm not, on the other hand, sure of what its worth. Is this in line with what you're looking for?

No its not. The 12XL is your basic handheld GPS. If you're looking for a car navigation system than this probably isn't the GPS for you.

I recommend the Quest II however if your budget is tight then the original Quest does the trick. They are both the same size, the difference is that the II model does not need uploading of maps since it has a new internal format which allows the complete U.S. to be loaded. They both provide voice directions and are highly portable.
