gas cap cover door

my gas cap door no longer springs closed? has anyone had this issue?

if so, how do i fix it?

Just an Idea. See if you can get a large clothing snap. Epoxy the 2 pieces in place.

I have seen it done on other cars. You will need one the thickness of the door rubber bumper.
