Is there a shortage of gas stations in FL? Heck, we got em on every corner here in Okla. Within 1 mile of my house, there's 6 stations! I don't think there's enough ppl that live here to make a line like that at every station.

Must be the same idiots that were lining up to fill their cars right after the 09/11 bombings.

Wow, I never thought I'd see anything like that in my lifetime. No sign of such "hysteria" out here in SoCal where even 87 octane is nearing $3/gallon.

We own a Convenient Food Mart. The gas shortage was a HUGE issue for us. We would hang a sign on the last car as we had a state mandated cut off time. Both on gallons and the clock.

People hated us. Like it was our fault. We paid two fines for pumping after hours..

Nothing like shooting the messenger.

I filled up in Dallas before driving back to OKC... 38.76 mpg! Well, that was my Toyota driving a steady 65mph :)

Two weeks ago it was $0.18 a gal. here in Henderson, KY.

OK OK It was a station that was going out of the gas business and staying in the wrecker and service station business. But that far below even there cost.:D
