Have a Gen 2 that has a low to medium speed squeak in what sounds to be the left rear brake/axle. After a little digging I suspect it is covered under TSB 08-19-6 - HIGH PITCHED SQUEAL NOISE FROM THE REAR

AXLE AREA. I was wondering if anyone has tackled this one and/or has a exploded parts view of the rear axle/brake assembly?

Thanks

You can find said schematic on sponsor Fast Parts Network's website. Are you over 60K miles (96.5K km)? If not this repair would be covered under the Drivetrain portion of Ford's Warranty.

I had the same problem on my previous 07. The problem is with the seals, not the bearings or driveshafts. I was out of warranty so had it done on my dime - too big a job for me. Cost was about $700 at a local indy shop. Gear lube needs to be drained to facilitate the repair. You might ask your local Ford dealer's service department if Ford would pick up some of the cost.
