My 01 ST is going to be in the driveway for sometime. It is still in great shape, and until it craps out completely, I will drive it. When it does go, I doubt I will buy another Ford for awhile.... not real impressed with the quality and their efforts to bring it up to par.
I have 4 Fords right now, and have had 4 previous to these.... newest is an 06 ranger and it has been in the shop twice so far with less than 4 miles on it, having computer issues. They just replaced the computer, so we will see, but still not impressed with the overall quality.
Looking at a new car now for DW.... looked at the Focus and the Cobalt, not impressed. Drove the Honda Civic, one of the Hyundai's, a Mazda, a Suzuki, and a Toyota also. Right now, looks like a Honda. Waiting though, to see what the American companies do near term to improve customer satisfaction.
