Sounds good. I don't know if it would make the shed too insulated and cause heat build up but to reduce even more sound. How about some of that liquid foam you mix up made for boats. Make little pour holes in the shed walls and fill all those dead spaces with the foam. I am sure it would deaden the sound but may cause too much heat.

Well, my local warehouse club has some Power Boss gens. They have a 5500 watt model with a B&S ohv motor - $660. A 7000 watt'er with a honda motor $900 and I think another 5500 with a tecumseh - ~$550. I've ruled out the last one, and as I imagined my paranoia about reliability is making me lean towards the first. Any one have any experience with these?



I'm hearing that consumer guide is giving the first a thumbs up but I'm not familiar with that guide.
