fence wasnt secured. only hung by the top beam maybe. therefore the fence would have flipped up allowing the car to pass "under" the fence without tearing it down. however I would think the fence would be shaking quite a bit

Simply drove underneath the unsecured fence I would think...



Deer do it all the time. Run fast, fall onto their sides and slide under the fence..

The video quality was so bad I wasn't sure what was going on. Cops need to get upgrades on chase cams.



Maybe the YouTube comments of the driver having the fence pre-rigged for this have some merit.



On the fence shaking, the commentators seem to say it is, to corroborate the "through-the-fence" theories, but I didn't see the "Patently obvious shaking" beyond a doubt in the beam of the fuzz' headlights.

I also thought the fence was pre rigged. You could tell by the erratic driving and a couple u turns that the driver may have been looking for his James Bond trick fence.

I don't really see why this is a head scratcher.



I suspect the fence had no ground rail, or if it did, the clips holding the bottom of the fence to the rail snapped. The result is the car goes through pushing the mess and the mesh falls back in place afterwards.



There wouldn't necessarily be any clearly visible damage or shaking a few moments later.



I see deer slide under fences all the time. Never enter a limbo contest with a deer. jk on both those last two.

I've seen deer run into fences...and I also see too many deer on a regular basis on the roads.



Hunters, where are you?



So, if the cops were in serious pursuit of this guy, why didn't they just run through the fence themselves?



Where was all the backup and helicopter support that was vaunted in a previous thread? :bwahaha:
