gibson vs magnaflow

hello people,

I was looking at buying a exhaust cat back system but don't know which one to buy. (Gibson or Magnaflow) Magnaflows website show a 07 sport trac but its prob a v8 mines a v6 of course.What do you all think. It's a 2001 ST 4.0L 4wd

I think you might want to check what your looking for... The 07 stuff will not fit on your 01...

Yeah I kinda figured that. Thats why I was wondering what a magnaflow sounded like on a 01?

Gibsons website shows an older model though. Just asking what you guys have heard or have

I have heard both, I personally like the magnaflow a little better....

does anybody know what the measurements are if i were to just buy a muffler instead of the whole cat back system. What do I look for? center to center etc? inside outside? Also has anybody heard of taking stock muffler off and using performance muffler intead? to save a little bit of money
