I think that's funny, but why would anyone pull an upside-down truck backwards by attacing the cable to the front of the vehicle. It certainly seems like the guy operating the tow truck had never done this before. Also, the truck bent in half at the separation between the body and the bed, the weakest part of any truck chassis.
In my opinion, it was the tow truck operator's stupidity rather than a failure of the GMC truck....I suspect that an F150 would have done the same thing in the same situation.
