Well everyone I had to do it, I went and traded the 07 ST yesterday for a 07 Tacoma, wow what a beautiful ride and crazy fast...I really did not want to do it but had no choice I want my truck to be lifted and the 07 ST's can not. But I wanted to take a minute and thank everyone especially Tood Z for all the help and input that was given, everyone I have had the pleasure of chatting with has been awesome, now it is time to start the mods on the Tacoma and lifting soon.

Actually Rodger, a dozen or so manufacturers make lifts for Toyota's. Only Superlift makes a true lift for a 4x4 ST.

Bill, sorry about that. I think Ford really screwed up when they went to an IRS suspension on a pickup truck. Out of their entire vehicle line up, it seems only the F-series trucks are competitive. Management has managed to screw up everything else. I dread the thought of these same boneheads working on the next F-150 design.

I am scared too. I can see it. IRS from the Expedition, big gigantic plastic chrome front end, and 8' 6" wide.

Look at the Fords they have in Poland. The technology is there for a Ranger with a Diesel engine. The Ford Ka is sweet. Honda, Nissan, and Toyota have those stupid little "micro cars" that sell like hot cakes. Ford has the Ka. Why don't they even consider bringing them to the USA? Make the dam thing is Korea, China, or Atlanta, GA. For crying out loud, make them in Iraq or Afghanistan. They will sell like crazy.

Once again, If I was to cheat on my ST it would be with a Tacoma. They are just so expensive, with what I paid for my 03 XLT ST (with 39,000 miles on it at the time) I would've got a much older, higher milage, Tacoma with no goodies. I got a lot of bang for the buck with my ST. Good luck with the Tacoma, they do look good

I had a Tacoma before the Trac. I loved the size of it and it ran like a scared rabbit. The Trac is a little more beefy in my opinion. But the Tacoma's are a great lookin truck... Good luck with the new truck, drop by and show us pics as ya go..

The Tacoma might be a good truck. JMHO, the grill is ugly the fender flares ought to be part of the sheetmetal and the rear doors dont flow with the cab. Looks choped off..

Eddie, I know it's just your opinion, but I really don't feel that Toyota really cares when they are poised to be the no. 1 manufacturer of automobiles in the world. BTW, I think they are overpriced and butt ugley too, but my opion doesn't matter either.

When I decided to get rid of mine..I think I am going to the Tacoma as well...They look sweet and have tons of power/ compared to the ST..
