Does anyone know if ethanol has a octane rating and if so what the heck is it?

E85 has an octane rating of 105.

Jack, sorry about your problem. Hopefully it won't last long.

Also want to add that you will get worse mpg using ethanol.

Thanks for the info guys. Just one more question on the subject. Can I still use my programmer (SCT1) with the ethanol in the performance mode?

Jack, I'm not sure. My X-Cal2 has programs based on whether I use 87 or 93 octane, if I use ethanol I would only do it in stock mode.
