My wife got me an Ipod that I that I have been bugging her about for my birthday and now it is time to install the Pioneer ipod adapter for it. Going to install it either tommorrow or wensday when I am off work. The only 2 wires that I have to connect are the ground wire and the power supply. Can I add the ground wire to the same location that I connected the ground wire for my Pioneer headunit? or would it be best to find a new ground location? With the power, what would be the best wire to connect to? Should I connect to the power supply to the headunit or should I connect to the cig lighter? Thanks for the help.

if it were me i would find a new ground location for the ipod adapter. but if you must the other one from the radio will work. and as far as power goes i would connect it to the head unit. as it pulls no more than 150 ma to charge the ipod. good luck and post pics.

Thanks MPTonyT. I am working 3rd this week. I am going to try to work on it tomorrow afternoon when I wake up or before I go to work tomorrow night. Now I just need to find a good place to hide the adapter. I'll get some pics when I am doing the install.
