Grey cladding stains????

Has anyone had any experience with getting stains out of the grey trim cladding on their ST? The more I rub cleaners into it or on it the lighter that spot becomes. If I can't clean it, is it difficult to get paint to adhere to the rough surface? It's not my first choice but I'm out of ideas.......:wacko:

check the projects section and do a search for cladding. painting might be a better option after all.

I scrubbed mine with Westleys Bleach White tire cleaner and applied Back to Black ............ made a huge improvement! BUT my stains were black, from the door drains.

hey, my ST got lighter stains on it and i took it in for defect in the part, got a new rear bumper =]

I agree with Steve M's method of Westley's and Back To Black. That's what I've always done.
