on our trip to sunny florida this past week , we had to stop at south of the border !

for those of you on the east coast , you know it was fun to watch all the advertising signs miles ahead as you approched the north/south carolina border.

it bought back memories of the days when i was younger and looked foward to stopping there for some food, games and looking in the gift shop. it was also tyler's first road trip to the sunshine state and he loved the " break " at south of the border.

the trac road so smooth and was a pleasure to drive !

Gary - yeah we see that every spring when we head down to mom's in Lady Lakes, FL. We always seem to go by there when it is dark out. We go from Phily straight through . . . 16.5 hours switching off every three hours.

tom, you are 100% right !!, btw, my new house was built by non-union worker :lol:



scotr, next time stop for a big laugh !, we made it in 19.5 hours from sarasota to eastern long isle ! 80-90 mph on the southern half ! lady lake is not far from our home in hernando.
