People use vinegar on the glass and newspaper......

On the paint, you can clear coat compound and wax,. OR claybar...

+1 for the clay bar. Pick up a kit at any auto parts store for ~$20. Gets all kinds of crap off your paint.

Get it, then do 1/2 of your hood and then feel both sides. You'll be amazed at the difference! It really strips the crap off of the paint!

If the stains have etched in the sun, a clay bar won't help. You'll need to combine a rotary polisher (the kind that can go 1,000-6,000 RPM) with some cutting and finishing polishes.

anyone want to come help yes it has set in the sun for weeks now. my poor st. i am sorry but when you get three girls drop in your lap one night things get up on the back burner. they are from a family of 7 with five different fathers. yes i am a foster parent.

hard water/sprinklers are the worst water spots. :fire:

glass & paint.

so much for timed spinklers. i have to do a manual setting so i can move vehicles.

clay bar is the best for about anything from treesap, paint overspray, tar, bug spots, road film or whatever... I am sure it would do the hard water spots as well. extra benefit is it will take the other stuff beneath the hard water spots as well.
