has anyone installed a brushgaurd AFTER a body lift?

so has anyone done this... was there any extra modifacation due to the body lift. i have a 3'' body lift and would like a brush gaurd or safari bar, but i wanna be sure that it will fit without having to make major adjustments.

The bar will work, BUT you have to fabricate new brackets to hold it in the proper location..

Some one here is having it done shortly and will be making them....

I believe Tonka Trac has a body lift with a brushguard. I asked him before and he said that he had custom brackets made for it to work. Heres a pic.

If any one is Making some i will gladly buy a set i have been woundering the same thing about brushgaurd and the body lift.

i had the safari bar on my S/T before the 3" body lift. after i put the body lift on i cut 2 inches off the mounting brackets and welded them back together. fits better this way than direct bolt on in my opinion. right out of the box the bar comes up to about an inch above where the cladding meets under the grill. now it sits perfectly where they meet.
