Paranoia and mass hysteria are a large reason why oil is up so high
People are stupid, the tons of anti-consumer report threads here illustrate that we all know this fact
It's too bad, as my vehicles are always thirsty.
So bill, it is just a west thing....around here, there's an occasional deer in the neighborhood and black snakes crossing the roads in a combination of biblical and st patrick fashion, but that's about it.
If not for the asinine "base relocation", there would still be trees left around the northern part of mah county, but as the government in its infinite wisdom would have it, there isn't, so maybe I'll end up having animal parades down my road as the spree of townhomes for the 10 mile off (as the crow flies) fort pushes animals further and further towards me...and after me comes water, so if they're coming, they'll have to come here as there is no where else to run.

So I was just at the store today, and rice cost under $.30/lb. I bought 12lbs to stick in the cabinet. Milk, which had been hovering around $6 a gallon, was back under $4 a gallon here. In general, prices for things I get each week have gone down the past two weeks. What usually costs me $40 cost me $34 today, and I got a few extra things, like strawberry milkshake Oreos. Gas may cost more, but if groceries are a bit cheaper, it helps.
