This may be a repost but it's good to pass on security data, just in case some one missed it.

Put you home number into Google and see what you get. Some may get a surprise and some may not. I just found out about it today.

Your welcome. Also contact your phone company and have your number unlisted and unpublished.

It's bad enough Google secretly tracks your your web browsing as well. I saw a 60min episode that showed how they do it. Forgot how it's done, but you could research it as well. They track the info you search for and its done through that some kind of way. It also stated that your info may not be safe but that could be with a lot of sites and companys

I've been using google for a long, long time. I have yet to have any phone # I use come up. I've never had a hit on my name or social either. There has to be to it than just that google "tracks" us.

Space, it depends if a person has thier info blocked or not. My phone was supposed to be unlisted and unpublished. But it wasn't.

They track the info you search for and its done through that some kind of way.

I know that its done. I've used google at work to find info on someone I searched thier name and it gave a link tio thier myspace profile.

Go figure.

It doesn't affect everyone. I just search my name as well guess what it's there. A link with your name comes up click the link wa la if you want more than whats there you have to pay for it. But never the less you can be found.

Just FYI being in law enforcement I just everyone to be safe.
