I'm trying to think of a name to call "myself". As some of you may have read, I have separated from the consulting company I worked at, and have gone off on my own. (I still have some trepidation, but I'm pushing forward..) I have 10 years of work experience in Microsoft and Novell networking (mainly Microsoft), with the last 6 years in consulting. I setup servers, routers, pc's, etc. etc. Interconnectivity - I call it, getting everything to work together. :)

So.. anyone have any ideas on a name? I need to register one soon. I want something that rolls off the tongue.

(BTW, I know I wouldnt need to register if I used my own name, but I'm not interested in doing that.)

Michelle,

If you don't have anyone else working for you, you are much better off just using your name.

If you want to keep your business finances separate from your personal finances, you could use "Michelle Widell Enterprises".

For a long time, I used "Ovation Software Services" and found that most customers usually just refered to me by my name, not my business name. Later, I found out that there was another computer consulting firm called "Ovation".

If you pick a name that starts's with "A" it will put you towards the front of the other IT's listed in the phone book. Then you will more calls and business than you can handle. -Heather

You Want IT.

You can answer the phone either way, You want it, or You want I.T.(eye t)

I Have IT.

I Fix IT.

Nothing but IT.

We do IT.

Just trying to think of names that people will not forget and still have IT in it.

Advanced Computing(or Computer) Technology, Inc. (ACT, Inc.)

Business name starts in A as in Heather's suggestion, Technology since you are a technical expert in computers, Advanced since I believe you know more than most out there. :)
