OK, so there was not a sway bar available in 2008 from what I understand. I have an 09 STA rear sway bar to install on my 08 STA. I have the two "U" shaped brackets and I ordered the sway bar links and bushings. Is that all I need? Do I use the bolts that are already there? I'm letting someone else install it but do I have everything I need?

I remember when i got that bar for Doug All you needed was the bar and the brackets.....

I don't think any thing changed..

Todd, I was told to replace the bushings and someone said I needed the links (linkage?) ....

I would measure the OEM links and get aftermarket metal links, and as for the bushings, Ford did not change the part number.... your bar has 2 notches where the bushings go so a different bushing is not needed..

thanks Todd! My cost on the bushings & the links was around $40.. might as well use them since I have them!
