HELP STEVE M!!

Hello Steve, I am getting ready to install my overhead console and I still have 2 questions. 1. what does the temp sensor look like? I know it can be cut from a harness but i am not for sure were. 2. do i need to get a harness to start with for the wiring or not? if i have to make the harness were do i get the connector that plugs into the console?



Any help would be great.

Pop the hood on your ST and look down. It is in front of the radiator. My st did not have the overhead console but the temp sensor was there. As for the wireing...... I had mine installed.

So the temp sensor stays there and i just have to run a wire to it or do i have to move it?

The wiring on my '01 was routed up the left windshield post, unlike your '04. It would have been nice to have gotten the wiring connector for the console with the console. I'd say junkyard the connector or I'll try and find a Ford number for it for you.

Flex, I have a 2002 ST and if they use the same sensor , my Ford wiring diagram book says the part # is 19E702 exactly where Steve's Diagram says it is
