Help with some rattling noise

in first gear there seems to be a rattling noise that comes from under the hood. Now a guy told me it was the k&n filter that was making the noise but to me they would make a sucking noise. The rattling noise sounds like a chain rattling. I have taken my ST into to the ford dealership time and time again and they tell me they can't find the problem. Would anyone be able to tell me what it is or if they have had this problem and how to correct it.

Sounds like the timing chain rattle issue. If you search the site, you will find out ton's of info about this. There are even some TSB's about it.

When my sport trac made that noise it was the tensioner pulley on the serpentine belt. It cost about $60 bucks to replace with a new belt included at the ford house.
