My '07 never seems to idle below 1200 RPM. It seems to be a bit fast, and I get a minor slam when I put it in gear.

Anyone else with an '07 have this condition?

Otherwise, the engine seems to be doing OK. It is a mechanically-noisy engine, but I don't hear the clanging, tapping, piston-slapping, etc. that others have heard with their V-8s. At 4,000 miles, it seems to be doing OK. It idles smoothly and doesn't vibrate much at all.

It is adjustable, But a real pain.. DO NOT try to turn the plastic adjustment nut as is, you will snap it off.....

Could try disconnecting the battery but since the 07 has no IAC valve and it is done through the TB it self ( the computer holds it open for the idle) it may have to adjusted through a computer flash at the dealer or doing it manually...

IF you want to try it manually let me know I can tell how it is done...

Thanks Todd.

I'll just let the dealer worry about it (under warranty).

Any idea what the idle speed spec is (what it is supposed to idle at)?

Thanks
