Hobby time.. Model cars

With all the snow we had in Atlanta last week I found a new hobby. Never really got into models when I was a kid, but found it to be very therapeutic. Got the bug.. Working on the Shelby now..Anyone else?

I've got a couple '69 Cougar models and a Batmobile. I've never put any of them together. Your post has inspired me to dig them out of the closet. We'll see how motivational it was. My problem now is where I would put an assembled one when finished. My fiance (an interior designer) would have a fit if I tried putting them in the china cabinet, haha.

I loved doing them when I was a kid. Still have a few of the cars and planes that I built. Also like "customizing/restoring" Matchbox cars.

I've got a container full of ones I haven't put together. I'm in the middle of a few 2-3 of some but I've been working on them for years. I'll go through a week or so of working on them and then putting them away for months. I wish I had more time to work on them though. Mostly I have Mustang's, but also have some older Ford Cars, also a Lightning.

Griff, I built alot of plastic models, when I was a teen. That was in the day that the glue could really get to you.

Nowdays I just buy the die cast. Lazy....LOL

38 vehicles and 8 motorcycles. I think Im addicted..LOL

Used to build them all the time as a kid. I still have most of them packed away, they were all muscle cars and some airplanes. Someday I'll unpack them and display them in my man cave. I have a few I started few years ago but haven't finished. Just hard to find the time anymore.

I used to love building models ,I have probably 100 unbuilt kits and many finished ones .Not enough time anymore ,Im usually tinkering on the real ones now as well as cruising in my wifes 72 Malibu vert when the weathers a little warmer.:supercool:
