I suggest you do that and let us know how long it took to clean up the mess. I don't know if gravity would provide enough low, it might provide too much flow. By using either my or Rich's method we at least do a one-for-one replacement. I am going to let the pump-out empty into a bucket. No need for a fancy tank there. I'll use a bucket for the new fluid too; just need to find the right fitting.

I am just giving idea's. I have my tranny flush system perfected. I just pull the drain plug 3 or 4 times and the fluid is like new. No mess, no fuss.

Caymen's idea is definitely the least complex, althought the 10 foot step ladder might make it less portable

10 foot, three foot, heck, sitting on the engine might work too. Let it suck as much as it needs. Don't force it.
