Hello all. I just ditched the Stock Adrenalin System. About to make a sale and stuff and have a question? About sending the stock HU, is there any pro-cautions or anything needed to have it ship correctly, or am I just too worried bout something I shouldn't be.

Depending on which one it is, yes.

There is a self park option as well as a locking bracket...

Thanks... Since I don't have either... Are they recommended and where can I get?

I have one and Todd Z has one. We basically rent them out when needed.

Charge 20 dollars up front then return 15 dollars when I get it back.

Our intention is NOT to make money, but to NOT lose the brackets...

Can totally understand that. Thanks for the help... Soon as I figure things out, I might rent one.

The bracket LOCKS it in place to the point it does not move...

The loaded CD's help as they weigh the carriage down and limit the movement, but it does NOT stop the movement...

It is really that big of a deal?

The HU is designed to be mounted in a truck and vibrate along the road.

When you are shipping it, it is going by truck, except it is in a box this time. I don't really think I would worry too much about it, but that is just me.

jon, I think being mounted right side up in a vehicle with suspension, is different from a box that will get, toss around, in a shiping center...

Have seen units get shipped to the new buyer and not work when it gets there. Is it a big deal? I consider it to be...especially if you are recieving the unit and it doesn't work.

SO whats the cheapest way to ship stuff these days? Just sold my old S10 FIPK, Intake, and MAF on eBay. Trying to figure out how I can ship it for around $20.00.

In most cases, if the items fall within the size and weight limits of USPS they are the best way to go financially speaking.

Cheap tracking price as well...
