My problem exist when I turn the gauge to any function, (AC, Heat, Defrost etc...) my vehicle cuts off.



Could you please help me determine what is causing this to happen?

CeeJay, could you give more information. Is it at an idle or highway speeds? Does the A/C clutch engage or not? (you need an assistant). To isolate the problem I would remove fuses associated with the HVAC controls. If the engine still cuts out, it may be do to an open wire in another circuit which is using the HVAC circuit (by backfeeding) to operate. If the engine does not stall, replace fuses one by one until the failure reoccurs. This should give you an idea of which function is giving you trouble, i.e fan motor, A/C clutch, etc.

Big vacuum leak???? Just a guess..
