Pat - BMW has only changed the M3 body style twice in the last 11 years. It looks nothing like a Mustang IMO, in any model year.

I've driven a supercharged 330, that was a blast...but with the upgraded chassis and feel of the M3, that's gonna be a beast of a car.



I'm still an Audi fan though.....

You are right. The Beemer seems to have a front clip very similiar to my 04 Cobra.



The BMW is a real sweet car but I really prefer the body style of my Cobra. I just wish it had the build quality of the Beemer.

Lucky you- Is it manual or SMG? I drove my '03 M3 SMG convertible only once- I ordered it sight unseen in Laguna Seca Blue and then hated the color so I flipped it to the next guy on the wating list. It was pretty stong in stock trim, so that Dinan will be beastly.

Lasik1 - it's manual. Our 2004 M3 has the SMG and it's pretty killer so it will be a lot of fun to compare the two.



Sorry Ham I'd take a M3 over a Cobra any day of the week. Far better performance car than the Cobra.



Chops-one of my customers, a speed shop, just finished building a 500HP Audi S4 Wagon. It's the only car in the World with the set up it has. They built it for Water Wagons Audi/VW Show last Month. Over 1000 VWs/Audis showed for the event.

The white one is our IRDC/SCCA Race Car. My wife has her first race in October then in April we are doing a 3 hour enduro together.

My cousin has a new M3, he gave me a great introduction, amoung the highways of Long Island yesterday. VERY nice car, you will enjoy it. I finally had to ask him to put the damn top up cause I couldn't hear anything, from the wind noise. Nice ride though. A wee bit more then the most expensive Trac though........go figure. The best part is pretty much everything you can imagine is covered head to toe, till 50k. Have fun.
