I have to write a "Reaction" paper, looking for suggestions???

A reaction paper is one in which I write about the topic and supply my reaction to the topic.

(Last week I did it on Sex Abuse within the Catholic Church). PLENTY of info out there on that one..



I need to write a 3 to 4 page reaction paper. It needs to be legal oriented, be it a case or judgment, policy that may be controversial etc etc etc. Also, he would prefer it to be recent to pretty recent event(s). I will need to find info on-line about it and supply the link or links I use for the information...



Looking for some suggestions.

I suppose some sort of class may help you with your thoughts.. LOL



It is for a Criminal Justice class, specifically and ethics class. But it does not have to be morally or ethically driven. If so, bonus, but no biggie if not.

Man-made caused global warming is a good one, but that may be more political in nature then legal.



Perhaps stem cell research would be a good one, as it deals with abortion, lots of legal stuff there.

I have had to do quite a few of these reaction pieces here lately...I am now working on a masters degree in political science and public administration and they always want to know what I think about some current topic....

I had thought of the immigration issue, I like the stem cell idea as well as the abortion one as well.



I will need to write three more of these. Whatever you come up with I will keep for the next report..

The Times Leader has covered the entire trial. You'll find a ton of stuff online, from legal periodicals, CNN, other cities doing the same (passing local ordinances), etc. In the legal community, it's a pretty hot issue, considering whatever decision is issued will be appealed to the Third Circuit and likely to the Supreme Court.
