I like how we can't search people who look like terrorists because they might get offended, but we close down bridges blow up boxes that have drawings of other boxes flipping the bird...

"Now that I have seen that on T.V. that is the Shiznite!" :D

What would I do without my daily Futurama, Family Guy, and ATHF.

Boodro

Boodro you should check out a show on AS called Frisky Dingo. Its new but its one of the best. It airs on Sundays/Monday at 12:30 am.

It's giving people ideas though. Where I live you can't drive 2 miles without crossing a bridge, last night someone called in a bomb threat on 4 of the 5 major bridges in my county. Can you say "gridlock", boys and girls?

I live 1.5 miles from work, it can take me as long as 2 minutes if I hit the red light (gotta love living in the boonies). Today between the detour and traffic it was over an hour.

You don't know how pissed the base got when CN disappeared down here. But we got it back! And yes, FD is awesome! Although, I must say it kinda sucks that Stand Alone Complex isn't on anymore. I think about the only show on AS that I don't really like is Assy McGee.

If I were on the bomb squad I would have kept one and sealed it in a trophy case, with a little plaque reading:

First the Red Sox and now this; will it ever end?

It was only "effective" because Boston officials overreacted by thinking they were bombs--something that I honestly don't think was intended, or even considered to be within the realm of possibility.

Apparently they did the same thing in other cities but in Boston someone forgot to notify the city about it.

Maybe that's why Ted Kennedy has been around so long. If it takes them three weeks to notice something stupid; then all one has to do, is do something stupid every two weeks and they'll never figure it out.

Unfortunately, this marketing event in Boston resulted in the city spending a million dollars in response to what they perceived as a legitimate threat. Additionally, countless first responders professionally went into action without concern for their own safety & welfare. We can joke about the city's response, but I don't think the criticism should extend to those who were doing their job.
