My husband went to change the fuel filter on my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. He tried to get the connectors off but he couldn't. He cut it off. He cut the entire connectors on both sides. Now all there is remaining are the lines.
How can we replace the connectors to hook up my new fuel pump.
Please help. I want to be able to drive my truck.

^ Four days later and only crickets chirping. Todd Z was kind enough to reply on FB and link the type of kit you need to do this safely.

For the sake of safety for your husband, you, and others PLEASE find outside assistance BEFORE attempting this repair. High pressure fuel lines leaking is a very serious safety concern. Good luck.

MEASURE FUEL LINE DIAMETER BEFORE ORDERING.
Dorman 800-050 (5/16")
Dorman 800-054 (3/8")

Hopefully people will see this and never need to do this repair because the hard fuel lines were cut. OP's original quotes from FB page:

Ok guys, I know he messed up but he was doing the best he could at the moment. I would appreciate no more name calling. My issue is that I now need to fix this so I can drive it again. I can't take it to a mechanic because I can't afford it. I am on disability with little or no money leftover. He is also on disability so we really have no extra money and have to do things ourself. What I need is help to fix it. Do you know what I can use to fix it, if so can you please let me know what it is and if there is a link to it, to please include the link. I have to find something I can put on the ends of each fuel link that hooks to the fuel filter. I really hope someone can help me.

its slow here... Sad really.... But with FB people just go there....

^ Can't blame you. I've had so many security issues with FB, I made an alias and cancelled my other account. IMO, FB is total BS.

No clue and probably not.... Just create a fake FB account, Use a GMail address and a BS profile pic. Join the groups.... I may have a few back up accounts no one knows about.
